Autumn and winter bring We Tripantu in June and, with the rain, a more indoor cultural life: theatre, music and activities at municipal venues and cultural spaces. Around 24 June, coinciding with the winter solstice, the Mapuche people celebrate We Tripantu: the return of the sun and the start of a new natural cycle.
